Dr Stowman is a licensed and board certified psychologist. She provides services to individuals of all ages (pre-school-adult). Dr Stowman treats a variety of conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, behavioral problems, and psychological symptoms associated with medical conditions.

American Board of Clinical Child and Adolescent PsychologyDr Stowman is a licensed psychologist who works solely in telebehavioral health at this time. She is trained as a general psychologist, with education and experience working with adults, children, and adolescents. She has specialized training in working with children and adolescents. She is a board certified child and adolescent psychologist, awarded by The American Board of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology (ABCCAP), a Specialty Board of the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). She also is a pediatric psychologist, trained to work with youth with health conditions such as cancer, chronic pain, migraines, asthma, and injuries. Dr Stowman’s areas of research include posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and child maltreatment.

She attended Northern Arizona University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Political Science in 2002. She then attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) where she received her M.A. in psychology in 2005 and her PhD in psychology in 2009. The clinical psychology program at UNLV is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).

Primary Children's Medical CenterDr Stowman completed an APA accredited internship at Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT. Her training included working with children and adolescents in outpatient, residential, and medical settings. Primary Children’s Medical Center is ranked as one of the best hospital’s in the United States by US News and World Report.

Marshfield ClinicDr Stowman completed a 2-year pediatric psychology fellowship at the Marshfield Clinic/St Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield Wisconsin, a University of Wisconsin education affiliate. Dr Stowman’s training included working with children and families in hospital settings with cancer, chronic pain, and injuries as well as outpatient psychological treatment. Marshfield Clinic is one of the largest private multispecialty group practices in the United States.

Dr Stowman is a member of the American Psychological Association, Nevada Psychological Association, and Society of Pediatric Psychology. Dr Stowman has been a licensed psychologist since 2010 and is currently licensed in Arizona, Nevada, and Wisconsin.
